Overview
One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. The series has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since July 1997, with the chapters collected into 102 tankōbon volumes as of December 2022. The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who sets out to sea to become the King of the Pirates. Along the way, he assembles a crew of diverse and powerful individuals, and together they face challenges and adventures that will test their limits.
Ace Arrives is the 59th volume in the One Piece series. It was originally released in Japan in 2012, and was translated into English in 2014. The volume follows the adventures of Luffy and his crew as they continue their quest to find the One Piece treasure. Along the way, they encounter new allies and enemies, and face challenges that will test their limits.
Story
Ace Arrives picks up where the previous volume left off, with Luffy and his crew on their way to Sabaody Archipelago. They are hoping to meet up with their friend, Portgas D. Ace, who is a member of the Whitebeard Pirates. However, when they arrive at Sabaody, they find that the island is under attack by the Marines.
Luffy and his crew are forced to fight their way through the Marines, and they eventually make their way to Ace. However, they are soon separated, and Ace is captured by the Marines. Luffy and his crew vow to rescue Ace, and they set out on a new adventure to find him.
Characters
One Piece is known for its large and diverse cast of characters, and Ace Arrives is no exception. The volume introduces several new characters, including:
* Ace: Ace is Luffy's older brother and a member of the Whitebeard Pirates. He is a powerful fighter and a skilled swordsman. * Sabo: Sabo is Luffy's childhood friend and a member of the Revolutionary Army. He is a skilled fighter and a powerful user of the Mera Mera no Mi, a Devil Fruit that allows him to control fire. * Ivankov: Ivankov is a member of the Revolutionary Army and a former Queen of Kamabakka Kingdom. He is a powerful fighter and a skilled user of the Horu Horu no Mi, a Devil Fruit that allows him to control hormones.
Artwork
One of the things that makes One Piece so popular is its stunning artwork. Eiichiro Oda is a master of his craft, and his artwork is both beautiful and expressive. Ace Arrives is no exception, and Oda's artwork is at its best in this volume.
The battles in Ace Arrives are particularly impressive, and Oda does a great job of conveying the speed and power of the characters. The character designs are also top-notch, and Oda manages to create characters that are both unique and memorable.
Overall
Ace Arrives is a must-read for any fan of One Piece. It is a thrilling adventure with a great story, well-developed characters, and stunning artwork. If you are looking for a new manga series to read, or if you are a fan of One Piece, then I highly recommend checking out Ace Arrives.
